Appsolute LLC Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 1, 2026
Last updated: November 4, 2026
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Appsolute LLC ("Appsolute," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the applications we publish. It applies to our applications and their current and future versions on Android, iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Fire OS, and other operating systems or distribution platforms, as well as our website. An application with different data practices may display a separate or supplemental privacy notice.
Summary
- Our applications do not require an Appsolute user account.
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
- We do not use personal information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
- Our applications do not contain third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. Some versions may offer optional first-party usage analytics, described below.
- Favorites, settings, progress, and similar preferences are generally stored locally on your device. Optional app-news registration and usage analytics are described below.
- Some applications send limited store-purchase information to Appsolute solely to verify access, restore purchases, and prevent fraud, as described below.
Information stored on your device
An application may store settings such as your selected language, text size, playback speed, sound preference, favorite items, viewed content, or locally available purchase entitlements. This information is used to remember your choices and provide the application's features. Appsolute does not receive these local settings, except for the preferred app language if you separately enroll in optional app-news notifications, or the limited activity events described under optional usage analytics if you separately choose to share them.
Your operating system may include local application data in a device backup or transfer it to a new device if you enable the platform's backup or migration features. Those services are controlled by your operating system, device provider, or store provider. Appsolute cannot access your personal device backup.
Network requests and technical information
Most instructional and reference content in our applications can be used offline. Some application versions may request public configuration, informational content, an About Us page, a list of our published applications, licensing information, or downloadable content from Appsolute or a distribution platform. Other versions do not make these requests.
Like any ordinary web request, a connection makes limited technical information available to the server and its hosting or security providers. This may include the device's IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested URL, and basic HTTP or network information. This information is used only to deliver requested content, maintain security, prevent abuse, verify access where applicable, and diagnose technical problems. We do not use it to build user profiles, advertise, or track activity across applications or websites. Operational security logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes.
Purchases and distribution platforms
Some applications may be paid applications or may offer purchases handled by Apple, Google, Amazon, or another distribution platform. The platform processes your payment and account information under its own privacy policy. Appsolute does not receive your complete payment-card or store-account credentials. An application may receive a transaction status, purchase receipt, product identifier, or entitlement from the platform when necessary to provide, download, or restore purchased content. This information is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Some applications verify a purchase or subscription with an Appsolute server before granting access. For this purpose, the application may send the store purchase token or receipt, application identifier, product identifier, and platform to Appsolute over an encrypted connection. Appsolute submits the credential to the relevant distribution platform to confirm the product, purchase state, acknowledgement state, and, for a subscription, whether access is currently active. We use the result only to provide or restore purchased features, protect the purchase system, prevent fraud, and maintain necessary transaction records.
For Google Play verification, Appsolute does not retain the raw purchase token after the request. We may retain a one-way digest of the token together with the application and product identifiers, verification result, acknowledgement state, and verification time for as long as reasonably necessary to support the entitlement, investigate abuse, comply with legal or accounting obligations, and protect the service. A token digest is not used for advertising, cross-app tracking, or to identify a payment card or Google account.
Optional app-news notifications
Some versions of our applications may offer optional notifications about new Appsolute applications and updates. We ask for a separate choice inside the application. Allowing system notifications alone does not enroll you in Appsolute news. If you choose to enroll and permit notifications on your device, the application may send its application identifier, platform, notification delivery token, preferred app language, and the version, source, and time of your choice to our server. Apple or Google's notification service processes the token to deliver notifications under its own privacy practices.
We use this information only to send the news you requested, maintain delivery, prevent abuse, and honor your choice. We do not use notification tokens for advertising, tracking, or identifying you across our applications. Each application and device has a separate choice; enrolling in one application does not enroll you in another. This feature does not include web push registration.
When available, you can stop Appsolute news in the application's Settings. This removes that application's server registration and queued notifications. You can also turn off notifications in your device settings. Inactive registrations are removed after 395 days. Short-lived keyed IP hashes used only to limit abuse are removed within 48 hours. You may contact us for a privacy or deletion request.
Optional usage analytics
Some versions of our applications may offer a separate, optional choice to help improve the app by sharing usage data with Appsolute. This choice is off until you actively enable it. It is independent of the operating system's notification permission and of any choice to receive app news. Declining it does not limit access to app content. Versions without this feature do not send usage events to our analytics service.
If you enable it, the application may send a randomly generated identifier for that app installation; the app and platform (such as iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Android); the app version and build; event times; and limited event IDs describing when the app or a named screen was opened, which catalog item was opened, whether an item was added to or removed from favorites, whether an Appsolute notification was tapped, whether a News message was opened and its unread badge cleared, whether an App Store or Google Play app card was shown or selected and the store page was handed off successfully, and whether a purchase flow was started or a purchased entitlement became active. Where relevant, an event may include a catalog item, message, recommendation rule, campaign, or store product ID and whether the screen was opened from a notification. We do not send the contents of messages, lessons, emails, payment details, purchase receipts, precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or a device fingerprint as analytics events.
We use these events to understand which parts of an app are useful, diagnose confusing flows, and measure whether a notification was tapped and led to the intended News item, and which related-app cards are useful. A store-page handoff does not prove a download or purchase, and those outcomes remain separate aggregate reports from the platform store. A notification provider accepting a message does not prove that a person saw or read it. We count installations, not uniquely identified people. The random identifier is separate for each app installation and is not used to join your activity across apps, devices, or other companies' services. Our hosting provider processes the network request needed to receive the events. We do not use these events for advertising or sell them.
Where the feature is available, you can turn it off in the application's Settings. Turning it off stops future event uploads, clears queued events on the device, and requests deletion of that installation's raw events from our server. Raw events are retained for up to 90 days; daily aggregate statistics without installation identifiers are retained for up to 13 months. Uninstalling the app does not necessarily notify our server, so you may also contact us with a deletion request. Ordinary security logs for the network request are handled as described above.
This website
Our portfolio website does not require an account or use a contact form. If you select Email Us, your email application handles the message. An optional motion effect uses device-orientation data on your device; we do not send those readings to our server. Our hosting provider may process ordinary connection information to deliver and protect the website. Store badges displayed on our website are loaded from Apple and Google, so viewing a page with those badges also makes a normal web request to those providers. Their handling of the connection information is governed by their own privacy practices.
Information you choose to send us
If you select Email Us, Contact Us, or a similar option, the application opens your chosen email application or support channel. If you decide to send a message, we receive the address you use, the message content, and any other information you choose to include. We use this information only to respond, provide support, protect our rights, or comply with applicable law. Support correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
External links and platform services
Our applications may open an external browser, email application, store page, or another application when you request it. Third-party applications, websites, store operators, device manufacturers, and operating system providers handle information under their own privacy policies. They may independently process information relating to downloads, purchases, subscriptions, device backups, diagnostics, or use of their services. Appsolute may receive aggregated store, sales, or diagnostic reports supplied by a distribution platform, but our applications do not use those reports to track you across applications or websites.
Device permissions and sensitive data
Optional news notifications may request the operating system's notification permission. Hinge Angle Meter may request camera access for its optional AR distance-measurement feature and motion-sensor access for measuring angles, slope, and level. Its camera frames and motion readings are processed on the device and are not sent to Appsolute. If you choose Save Photo, it requests permission to add the resulting image to your Photos library; it does not save an image automatically. Your device or cloud-photo provider controls any later backup or synchronization of that image. The applications covered by this policy do not require access to precise or approximate location, contacts, microphone, health information, biometric information, or an advertising identifier. They do not request permission for advertising tracking. If a future version introduces different data handling, we will update this policy and provide any required in-application disclosure or consent request before that handling begins.
Health and fitness content
Some Appsolute applications provide general educational, exercise, movement, sport, or fitness reference content. They do not access Apple Health, HealthKit, Health Connect, Google Fit, or similar health-data services, and they do not collect or create a health profile. This content is informational and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified medical or fitness professional. You should consider your own condition and obtain appropriate professional advice before beginning physical activity.
Sharing of information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share personal information for targeted or behavioral advertising. Limited technical information involved in delivering a web request may be processed by service providers that host or secure our website, content, or optional notification service. Apple or Google may process a notification delivery token when you opt in as described above. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce legal rights, protect users, or maintain the security of our applications and services. Service providers may process information only for the services they provide and are expected to protect it appropriately.
Children's privacy
Our applications do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If optional app-news registration is available, it requires a separate choice and processes the limited data described above. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us in a support message or registration, contact us so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Data retention and deletion
Local preferences and other local application data remain on your device until you change them, clear the application's storage, or uninstall the application, subject to backup or migration settings controlled by your platform provider. Our applications do not create an Appsolute user account, so there is no separate account-deletion procedure. Optional app-news registrations are removed when you opt out in the application and inactive registrations are removed after 395 days. Optional usage-analytics retention and deletion are described above.
If you contact us directly, you may request deletion of your correspondence and associated personal information, subject to information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping obligations.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may:
- change preferences within the application;
- delete local application data through your device settings or by uninstalling the application;
- control device backup and platform privacy settings through your operating system provider;
- stop optional Appsolute news in the application's Settings or turn off system notifications; and
- turn off optional usage analytics in the application's Settings, where available; and
- contact us about personal information you previously sent to us.
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the limited information described in this policy. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. If you contact us or request online content, information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our applications, distribution platforms, service providers, or legal requirements change. The current version will remain available at this URL, and the Last updated date above will identify the latest revision. If an application introduces materially different data practices, we will update this policy, any supplemental notice, and the relevant store disclosures before those practices begin.
